Labels for the baking and pastry industries.

Another group of users of labels from the food industry is made up of pastry and bread and bakeries. As with the meat industry, we can divide the labels used into two groups.
  • Decorative labels
  • Thermal transfer labels
Decorative labels are typically produced on semi-gloss or glossy paper, which provide a broad array of printing and enhancement possibilities. The use of windows in lacquers provides the possibility of adding additional variable information, such as the date of production, through the use of various stamps or dating machines. Because the label is applied in a dry environment and the product is often subjected to thermal processing, the adhesive should be selected properly so that it does not migrate from under the label during pasteurising.

Thermal transfer labels similarly to thermal labels, are typically pre-printed with company logos, graphics, and the address of the producer, and also contain fields for the printing of variable information. In this case the printing takes place with the thermal transfer method using thermal ribbons and a variety of printer types. The most common types of printers are ZEBRA, CAB, CITIZEN, and SATO. High quality self-adhesive paper and a properly selected ribbon guarantee long head life and high quality of printing.
